Scent Work

Pine Rivers has been conducting Scent Work classes since 2017.

We offer a six-class Beginner Scent Work course.  This course introduces you and your dog to “hunting” for novel odour and techniques for handling to develop a confident, independent scent work dog.  

This course is suited to dogs with no scent work experience. However, dogs must be able to relax quietly in a crate in a class setting.

The cost of the course is $200.00 with the option to purchase a Birch odour kit. 

Graduates from Pine Rivers Dog Training Club's Beginner course are eligible to enrol in the Club's other Scent Work courses.

Scent Work classes are offered on Thursday, with day and evening classes available.  Course bookings open several times throughout the year.  For currently available Scent Work courses, please see Events
